95 South

About

Card-carrying members of the Miami Booty Bass circuit, 95 South received worldwide attention for their 1993 single "Whoot, There It Is." Their simplistic, call-and-response rhyme style forgoes make-believe Mafioso and Alize-sipping thugs, instead embracing the magical mayhem of wild sex. Production is all about the bass, with booming low-end laying the foundation for bright keyboards and speedy 808 beats. Those searching for deep lyrics and musical diversity should look elsewhere -- 95 South are strictly for the freaks.
