Aimee Allen

About

Aimee Allen has done just about everything there is to be done as a struggling artist in Los Angeles: She moved there from a small town (Missoula, Montana), worked odd jobs, acted on a soap, recorded an indie album, worked with Linda Perry -- and oh yeah, scored and then lost a major label recording contract. Elektra released her debut, I'd Start a Revolution If I Could Get up in the Morning, and then the label got subsumed by Atlantic and Allen lost her contract. Six years later, she was back with a sunnily soulful album called A Little Happiness.
