The scope of David Foster's influence sinks in about halfway through Hit Man. Sure, he kicks things off by announcing "my friend Kenny G," who delivers the silky theme to St. Elmo's Fire, and follows it with a Michael Buble and Blake Shelton duet on "Home," but then he brings in the big guns: Bocelli, Groban and Dion (Streisand appears on the accompanying DVD). This collection is based on the one-night-only concert in May 2008. The three-fer of Peter Cetera's "Hard to Say I'm Sorry"/"You're the Inspiration"/"Glory of Love" soars on eagles' wings.
