Quality control with Hotel Costes compilations is so strong that one could safely pick any of them, sight unseen, and be absolutely happy with the perfectly sexy and languid downtempo music therein. That they have managed this for 10 releases is all the more remarkable, and for this we must thank Stephane Pompougnac's exquisite taste and programming abilities. This whole release is excellent, but if forced under threat of the comfy chair to pick the best, go for Deep Dive Corp.'s trippy, dubby and ridiculously groovy "Little Ditty."
