Superstar DJs get to do lots of things, but going deep into left field isn't one of them. So it's a pleasure to hear progressive mainstay Sasha indulging more esoteric tendencies on this follow-up to 2004's Involver, which also dipped into moods and selections you wouldn't expect from such a hands-in-the-air titan. More an extended remix than a simple DJ set, Invol2ver finds Sasha reworking the likes of M83, Ladytron and Thom Yorke and spinning the results into an hour-long blast of evolving beats and atmospherics.
