Red House Painters

After the Red House Painters' somewhat unceremonious departure from 4AD, this two-disc collection of out-of-print or rare tracks was a godsend for their rapacious fans. The first disc is mostly the band's famously dour material released on that label, but the second disc offers rarities with more levity, including covers of rock chestnuts like "Don't Fear the Reaper" and "Any Way You Want It."
