All That Remains put their serious chops to exhaustive use on this fourth full-length. And while there are plenty of the careening elements that highlighted 2006's The Fall of Ideals, ATR step up the production just a bit too much, rendering the vocals so polished and clean you could eat off 'em. Still, when the machine-gun double bass and major-league melodic guitars/wailing solos kick in on tracks like "Days Without," the metallic onslaught is enough to match the precedent and skill of both Lamb of God and Dragonforce alike.
