Allison Moorer

When Steve Earle married Allison Moorer, one of his wedding vows must have been, "I, Steve Earle, solemnly swear to produce your next album so that it sounds like you recorded it with Neil Young and Crazy Horse." Moorer still emotes with the sultry soul heard in her previous works, but these songs sound touched by the hand of 1979's Rust Never Sleeps. She should be Young's support act on his tours just so they can share the same band, making things easy for the sound guy.
