The restlessly creative Andrew Bird recorded this EP for his fans to have something new to discover during his extended tour. Once again, Bird's lush music is buzzing with ideas, yet he knows when to stop and avoids swamping either his catchy pop melodies or his witty, playful lyrics. The remix of "Plasticities" deserves FM rock airplay, while the demo of "Heretics" shows that Bird's music soars even when all of his studio toys are taken away from him. The set ends with a lovely chamber group reading of Bob Dylan's "Oh Sister."
