Fela Anikulapo-Kuti lives! On this debut album, the fourteen-plus piece ensemble from New York City carries the tradition of the Afrobeat movement. Aside from the last track "World War IV" the tracks are non-vocal drawing attention to the wonderful wailing horn arrangements, sustained organ chords, hypnotic percussion, and funky James Brown-esque guitar riffs.
