Aterciopelados

Aterciopelados are one of the coolest bands to come out of the Rock En Espanol scene. It seems like they can do anything: cool South American trip-hop ("El Estuche"), nuevo bolero ("Bolero Falaz"), or hard rock ("Florecita Roquera"). Vivid and unconventional instrumentation helps, as does frontwoman Andrea Echeverri's voice, which is so warm you could bake bread on it.
