Mark Stuart lets guitarist Tyler Burkum throttle the mic as the band shakes up styles. Hand-pumper "Clap Your Hands" ignites the title track's guitar party, and there's a Goo Goo Dolls-esque track called "King and a lovely Otis Redding cover, but they return to form on "Losing Control," an anthemic ballad that's reminiscent of their 2003 hit "Leaving 99."
