Touring with Berlin techno queen Ellen Allien has had an effect on Detroit soul brother Matthew Dear, for in his Audion guise he's gone all banging techno and mad funky synths. Such is the raw sexuality of these tunes (just look at some of the titles) that one wonders if Dear needs to get out of the studio more -- or perhaps invite us over to join the party.
