Audioslave

The second record from the post-Rage Against the Machine band picks up where the underrated Stone Temple Pilots left off. This is modern hard rock, born out of grunge but with none of that scene's self-consciousness, and free to combine the occasional Beatles-esque melody with serious guitar crunch.
