If not for the sliver-thin semblance of a pedal steel on the chorus, this Big & Rich hit would not constitute a country song. With its melodramatic urgency and glossy production, you could almost imagine Michael McDonald singing it. This is not to say that "Lost in This Moment" isn't amazing - it is. Big & Rich put the power back in the power ballad. Romantic accoutrements like sweeping cello lines and impassioned vocal harmonies are sure to set the stage for upcoming songs with sexier results like the duo's more popular "Save A Horse (Ride A Cowboy)."
