Pour yourself a thick mescaline colada and put some lobsters in your pants! The lounge-a-billy sounds of Billy Strange will madly soothe you. Strange was an infamous session guitarist of the 1960s, and arranged songs for Dean Martin and Nancy Sinatra. His virtuoso guitar pickings have been studied by six-string scholars everywhere. Strange is one of those guitar players who learned how to play "wrong" and developed it into his own signature stamp of scattered strums and pristine pickings that often sound as if a flamenco player did the score for a Sam Peckinpah western.
