With a background of Caribbean rhythms (especially the rumba) and Dixieland strut, New Orleans Blues is nothing if not a party. Driven by horns and the Boogie-Woogie piano stylings of Fats Domino and Professor Longhair, this style can sound anything from laid-back and happy to foot-stomping and wild.
