About

Nobody can play old-fangled clawhammer banjo like Bob Carlin. But that's what he's strived for since he was sixteen and studying with the legendary picker, Hank Sapoznick. The thing about Carlin's playing (besides his obsessive-compulsive technical skill) is that he transcends fun. These fiddle-accompanied instrumental Bluegrass bits sound like Carlin was having a blast picking songs at lightning speed, all the while displaying finesse and style.
