Swell overview of Darin's singles for Capitol, this showcases his mastery of rockabilly, folk, country and big band pop. Not essential, but fun. Includes "Gyp the Cat" (a sly rewrite of "Mack the Knife"), the Phil Specter pastiche "Wait By the Water," and the great Darin original "As Long As I'm Singing."
