Bombay Dub Orchestra

This subtle, engrossing album wasn't necessarily what we were expecting of the potentially explosive mix of a 26-string orchestra and two British DJ types. But duo Garry Hughes and Andrew Mackay tread gently, mingling sweeping strings, Indian classical sighs and dialed-down electronics for a moody, gentle album that's guaranteed to lower temperatures in any room.
