Bootsy Collins

Bootsy's sophomore album is as funkily scrumptious as his debut. His spastic and hyper-sexual bass work -- which conjures images of an aquatic, psychedelic orgy -- is at the foreground throughout. And though this album is best known for extended funk exercises "Bootsy?" and "Bootzilla," the more restrained "May the Force Be with You" and "Very Yes" are equally satisfying.
