Bring Me The Horizon

This British deathcore band's Epitaph debut has all the energy and complexity of their preceding rep, but offers an experimental twist with the addition of Gothenburg sound mastermind/producer Fredrik Nordstrom. Electronic influences take shape ("Chelsea Smile"), the genre-bending ambience of artists like Underoath shines through, and the dire vox ("It Was Written in Blood") draws comparisons to Gallows. While maintaining their hardcore roots on intense songs such as "Football Season Is Over," BMTH's identity crisis allows for better-crafted songs.
