Cannonball Adderley

In 1959, Riverside put out Cannonball Adderley's In San Francisco and nabbed a surprise jazz best seller (it also earned Adderley a recording contract with Capitol Records, where he would go on to became a crossover soul jazz star). How better to follow that hit LP up than with another concert set in another city? Adderley and his hard bop group were really something live (his sextet includes his brother Nat on cornet, Joe Zawinul on piano and Yusef Lateef on reeds) -- their energy and drive is unrelenting but never forced or pushed. This remastered edition doesn't include any bonus material.
