Possibly the new Destiny's Child, ATL foursome Cherish unleash a debut that is precociously seductive and endlessly addictive for fans of bubblegum R&B. "That Boi" is an innocent meditation on the allure of puppy love, while the slightly naughtier "Chevy" conflates sex with automobile appreciation (e.g. "Treat me like a Chevy/ Crank up my ignition"). Atlanta super-producer Jazze Pha dresses up these tried and true themes with a coat of his trademark low-end electro funk. The girls' harmonies are sweet, even if no one immediately stands out.
