Chevelle

"Mexican Sun" exemplifies why Chevelle, despite often getting lumped in with the less than original pack of modern metal bands who are fellow Warped Tour vets, are among a handful of mainstream acts whose music rises above the poisons of the major labels putting out their music (assembly-line production, songs, albums, bands, etc.). The Illinois power trio delivers an eminently singable, yellable, bedroom door-slamming, Mom and Dad-hating heavy jam. Lead single "Jars" delivers the same effect.
