De Babalon's output is a catastrophic meeting of opposing forces. Bitterly attacking, frantic beats will send anyone living with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder diving under their bed. No less dominant nor fearful are pads that creep endlessly forward, creating an atmosphere of menace; offering constant reminder that release from the sonic abuse shan't come too soon. When De Babalon drops to the requisite Ambient pause, he lingers in dark, barely navigable swamps as complexly orchestrated as his manic breaks. He creates both the air raid sirens and the firebombing.
