Chuck Prophet

Fans of the post-Americana sound should dig their teeth into Prophet's seventh LP. Not that he's deserted the red, white and blue -- it's just that these colors (and the sentiments they imply) don't run his sound anymore. Oh, his Telecaster still twangs hard, but in a much more psychedelic style. Stephanie Finch's gossamer vocals add depth.
