Climax Golden Twins

Set in an abandoned mental hospital littered with evil spirits, alternate personalities and way too much asbestos, Session 9 bleeds dread and bad vibes. Much of the film's success can be credited to the Climax Golden Twins' eerie score. Director Brad Anderson found the right guys for the job; the Twins are longtime avant noise innovators skilled in lo-fi soundscapes and chilling drones. This is one of the rare scores that makes for great listening as pure sound -- but keep the lights on.
