Confederate Railroad

About

One of a slew of country acts signed in the wake of Garth Brooks' early-1990s ascendancy, Confederate Railroad wed the rowdy spirit of Lynyrd Skynyrd to twangy Country Pop songcraft, coming up with a style that might best be described as mullet country. Their biggest hit "Trashy Women" extols the virtues of a certain type of trailer park chic.

- Tom Heyman
