Crabby Appleton is an inventive L.A. group in the classic mold: high ringing guitar,
crackling organ and a lead vocalist whose delivery is strenuous and dramatic, in contrast to
his phlegmatic demeanor, which carries all the sullen narcissistic charisma any band needs.
