Guitarist Davie Allan cut his teeth writing the soundtracks of biker exploitation flicks. His recording career began in the mid-'60s and has essentially never stopped. His Surf sound began as a raucous combination of fuzztone, twang, and pounding drums that remains timeless in its simplicity. Allan continues to record and, if anything, he's now even more accomplished. He may make the same record over and over, but it's a great one.
