The self-deprecating title speaks to the no-nonsense attitude you get with Toronto's mouse-headed star of the megaclubs, Deadmau5. These are big club bangers, and no extra imagery or verbiage is needed to bring them to life. Although Deadmau5's early records flirted with breaks and big beat, he has honed his sound into a warm, enveloping electro-house that's heavy on punchy grooves and memorable riffs. While he doesn't have the crossover cred of James Holden or Gui Boratto, Random Album Title's emotive synths and rolling bass lines hit the same sweet spot.
