Dee Dee Ramone

About

Dee Dee has been a Ramone since 1976 so it's no surprise that much of his solo work mimics his former band. Here is a dose, albeit watered down, of what made the Ramones so damn loveable -- simple three-chord riffing, less-than-flashy drum beats, and sing-along vocals. Dee Dee is no Joey when it comes to singing; his voice gets a little thin at times, but Ramones fans will appreciate this effort. The uninitiated (and non-believers) will regard it as rough hewn Power Pop.
