Die Krupps

About

Die Krupps' 1993 tribute to Metallica attested to the band's more than fleeting interest in Metal. The band's early releases pioneered the subgenre of Industrial Dance known as "electronic body music." As they progressed, however, focus turned increasingly toward guitars and percussion and away from synths. The Metalmorphisis 1981-1992 compilation bears witness to the band's trajectory.
