Master of the Moon isn't breaking new ground, but the title cut is prime Ronnie James and it's one of many fantasy metal ballads he's nailed over the years. The whole album is bombastic as hell, with Dio's trademark lyrics and riffs that echo The Mob Rules. Impressive for a guy who's been at it since 1972.
