D.I.T.C.

Though billed as a record by N.Y.C. crew D.I.T.C. (Big L, Buckwild, Lord Finesse, Fat Joe, O.C. and A.G.), this is a showcase for the production work of Show (from Show and A.G.). His blend of traditional boom-bap rap is reminiscent of a slightly less nimble version of DJ Premier. There's little attention paid to club anthems and radio singles, and the thumping, sexless production and raps about street valor and rap fame offer a supremely masculine take on hip-hop.
