The mystery of devotion, the mystery of music. The two are so tightly entwined in world cultures they seem to be one, and on Devotion they are. Sabbah immersed himself in spiritual communities in India before crafting this deep tribute to praise music from three different religious traditions: Sikh, Hindu and Sufi. His electronic meddling has never been so sure or so subtle: he masterfully reworks Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's "Kinna Sohna" and finds grooves in the most impassioned traditional music.
