One of a few superstar DJs from the West Coast, Doc Martin (alongside DJs Garth and Jeno) played a crucial role in making San Francisco a hotbed of House music in the late 1980s. A few years later, Doc Martin defected to Los Angeles. Once situated with a Metropolis residency in that area and several more in New York (including Twilo), he began gigging worldwide in such untouchable clubs as London's legendary Cream.
