Hailing from G-Funk central -- Long Beach, Calif. -- the Dove Shack are protégés of Warren G. They first appeared on his multi-platinum '93 debut Regulate...G-Funk Era. Made up of 2 Scoops, C Knight, and Bo Roc, they released their first album This Is The Shack in '95. Flexing butter-smooth song-raps over keyboard-heavy production, they scored a substantial hit with the single "Summertime In the LBC." They later contributed to a few compilations, and dropped Reality's Got Me Tied Up in 2000 on Street Solid Records.
