Dusty Rhodes and the River Band

Not a lot bands have tried fusing prog-rock and Americana. Back in the olden days there was Brinsley Schwarz and the Move. In modern times, both Blitzen Trapper and Dr. Dog dabble, yet neither goes all out like California's Dusty Rhodes and the River Band. You just gotta dig the audacious title track here: side two of Abbey Road meets The Yes Album, with a country fiddle thrown into the ring. The following jam, "Andy," takes things up a notch or three with some seriously bold art-pop moves.
