There's 82 songs on this awesome box set, but it doesn't seem like enough at the end of the day. That's how good it is. You get Dwight Yoakam's hits, album tracks, duets, covers and songs that only made it onto compilations, but there's also an album's worth of previously unreleased material, all of it hit worthy, especially the hardcore honky-tonkin' "This Drinkin' Will Kill Me" and the throat-lumping "Please Daddy." His Bakersfield-basted live take on Harlan Howard's "Heartaches by the Number" surpasses both the original and the late Buck Owens' version.
