Enya

Enya originally composed this album in the late 1980s for a BBC documentary by the same name. While kernels of her sound are evident, the album is equally interesting for the history -- the song "Boadicea" was composed in honor of the great warrior queen. The "Triad" honors three Irish heroes: the ubiquitous St. Patrick, the warrior Cu Chulainn and Oisin.
