Erasure

On this 1995 album, Erasure invited the Orb's Thomas Fehlmann to help with the production. The songs were blissful, dreamy and much longer than fans were used to, bringing considerable critical acclaim but less chart success than previous efforts. Clarke's rich layering of melodies and mid-tempo beats and Bell's angelic voice combine well with Fehlmann's production, resulting in one of Erasure's most sophisticated releases, destined to age better than their earlier work.
