This early outing finds Ernie Andrews singing in a creamy, less bluesy style than the one he would soon adopt. Andrews was part of LA's Central Ave. jazz scene and here he's surrounded by a stellar group of West Coast luminaries: Benny Carter and Gerrald Wiggins and wrote the charts, while Plas Johnson, Barney Kessell, Sweets Edison, Buddy Collette and others guest.
