Fall Out Boy

"Now I don't know what the hell this song is talking 'bout/ Do you?" Kanye's verse on his remixed version of "This Ain't a Scene It's an Arms Race" is hilarious. And did we say remixed? Try completely re-made. The original's driving clomp is here replaced by a loping beat and some synth stabs. Actually, given his treatment of it, it's possible Kanye's mocking the song. But then, Fall Out Boy are famous for mocking themselves, and so this take becomes a delightfully self-reflexive goof. "The arms race made 'em raise their arms and race straight to the top." Hahaha!
