Fine Young Cannibals

About

Looking like the sharpest Soul boy to ever walk the streets of London, Fine Young Cannibal Roland Gift impressed with his devilish good looks and cherubic voice. He could do big with it, or he could do tiny -- and he had a bit of Aaron Neville in those pipes. Hits like "Johnny," "Good Thing" and their cover of "Suspicious Minds" welded Blue-Eyed Soul and smooth European pop at the hip, producing visions of a dream Motown where the streets were lined with scooters.
