Five Finger Death Punch

Riff-wise, FFDP consistently deliver a product that is as steeped in the new wave of American death metal as it is in the Sabbath-worshipping '90s. And vocally, Ivan Moody offers effectively spasmodic gurgle-isms, lots of screeching and menacing spoken word-ery. But what gets them into the industry parties is that shirtless mosh-pit power wrapped around choruses that are radio-friendly (except when they write a song like "No One Gets Left Behind," which is pure fun for metal fans). Folks who miss Pantera will want to check out "Burn It Down."
