Foo Fighters

With their 1999 release, the Foo Fighters step away from the shadow of Dave Grohl's former band (Nirvana) and further into their own. Although a lot of bands are vying for the space that Grohl and company inhabit (the post-Nirvana, commercial alt-rock arena), none do it with the conviction and energy of the Foo Fighters.

The first thirty seconds of the Foo Fighters' third album, There Is Nothing Left to Lose, are a
