A trio from L.A., Funkdoobiest dropped their first album Which Doobie U Be? in 1993. Down with Cypress Hill, it was produced entirely by beat-wizard DJ Muggs, who is well-known for his work with Cypress Hill, House of Pain, and the Soul Assassins series. Flaunting their love for weed and the ladies (the group's Son Doobie has actually worked in porn), they returned in 1995 with Brothers Doobie. 1998 saw the release of The Troubleshooters, on which they expanded their sound through collaborations with Da Beatminerz and others.
