Ruckus makes a whole lotta noise, as Galactic wholeheartedly embrace acid rock and hip-hop, along with Big Easy-style funk and R&B. This solid stoner/new jazz/jam rock set even works when things calm down on mellow groove tracks like "Paint," or when the band proves to be true children of the 1980s with a cover of General Public's pop opus "Tenderness."
